Feats & Abilities

Throughout the progression of your character, he or she will grow from their respective backgrounds – be it a pickpocket, a farmer, a street urchin, a hired sword or whatever it might be – into a hero.. or possibly a villain. Along the way you will be confronted with dangerous enemies and denizens of Altherra – old magicks, new gods, and unknown foes. And of these encounters, should you prove victorious (or cunning), you will gain the ability to perform great feats of power. How you choose to use this new found power, though, is entirely up to you.

IRC Channel

We’ve registered an IRC channel over a DarkMyst. If you’re familiar with IRC you can connect to irc.darkmyst.org, and then join #legendsreborn.

If you’re new to IRC, I’ve written up a how-to tutorial on how to connect to our server for the first time.

Gallery updated

Hello there travelers,

The gallery has been updated with some random shots of the world. Unfortunately, since most of the buildings are larger than my screen (UO, actually..) allows for, I snapped the best/most intriguing exterior shots I could.

We’re back.. (in a big way.)

Welcome back everyone.

We were having some issues with the website – thanks for sticking with us in the forums during the down time. We were able to save the content that we had generated over the past couple of months and successfully restored most of it (the icons for your usernames, unfortunately, have been reset).

We’re wrapping things up over here — scouts promise, I swear. We’ve been spawning the world and adding interesting locales along the way and we’ve been trying to make the NPC’s as dynamic as possible – which really entails tweaking the AI, the goodies (read: loot), and trying to get them to be a bit more interesting – watch out for incoming rocks, and those pesky throwing spears.

The to-do list has grown substantially smaller – trust me – that’s a good thing .

One big announcement that hopefully everyone will be excited about; we’re shooting for a February release.

How’s that for an update?
